Eng. Al-Jaafary Hassan
Chief Executive Officer, AMG Services & Solutions Holding
Chairman, JEDCO for Engineering Solutions
01 — Professional journey
His career began in Egypt in 2006, in the operation and maintenance of factory equipment and the design of industrial electrical networks. In 2008 he joined The Arab Contractors, where over five years he progressed from junior electrical engineer to Assistant Director of the Electromechanical, Bridges and Specialised Construction Unit.
In 2013 he moved to Saudi Arabia as Senior Electrical Engineer with Abdulali Al-Ajmi Co., responsible for estimation, tendering, procurement and electrical design on a SAR 1.2 billion housing infrastructure programme across nine sites in the Southern Region.
In 2015 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bashaer Al-Benaa Contracting and Power Source. His remit extended to Smart Line and BASCO in 2022, and today he leads the group as Chief Executive Officer of the holding company and of each of its operating companies — Bashaer Al-Benaa, Power Source, Volterra Arabia Solutions, Smart Line, BASCO and Knooz Al-Hoqool.
02 — Executive leadership & governance
As chief executive he sets the vision, strategy, annual road map, financial plan and targets for the holding company and each operating company, and reviews performance against plan every quarter. He establishes and maintains each company's organisational structure and approves its key performance indicators, incentive schemes and training plans.
He is accountable for major corporate decisions, profitability and financial stability, maintains accountability to the board, and keeps contingency plans in place for critical risks.
03 — Business development & strategy
He directs the group's participation in major-project tenders across the public and private sectors and its vertical and horizontal growth in line with market demand. Under his leadership the group companies have delivered projects for the Ministry of Sport, Mouwasat, Alshifa Endowment, the Saudi Tourism Authority, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and Almaarefa University — together approximately SAR 1.7 billion in contract value.
He oversees the group's manufacturer and technology partnerships, which include Honeywell, Cisco, Aruba Networks, Huawei, Corning, Dahua, Hanwha, Nokia, Siemens and Schneider Electric, and manages relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
